CHAPTER 15: CAMERA FRONT FRAMEWORK
Here we have the front framework that will hold the lens, aperture, shutter and a filter (if I choose to). I figure I´ve written enough on how this thing works so there´s not much technical things to explain here. The design of this piece really turned out nice, personally I love the curved parts and lines in the front end. The only thing that is left to do now of the major camera parts are the bellow.

On the image below you can see a tweak/addition I´ve made to the aperture, and I made the same thing on the shutter. I had some problems with the blades coming off the drive pins as these units was operated in a standing position. Therefore I added the small white discs on top of the pins, which turned out to solve two things. One, the blades will now never come off the pin, and two, these white small discs almost touches the lid for the units making it impossible for the main ring to come off the central hub, which was a pretty big issue on the shutter. Now everything seems to work without glitches when mounted in the frame.

Below you can see two images with all tyhe parts mounted in the frame. Front most are the empty slot for the filter, then comes the lens, then the aperture and finally the shutter. Another small thing I have done to the lens is to cover the upper part of the square peice of plastic around the actual lens with some black adhesive film since this thing was slightly transparent there would be light hitting the lens from really wierd angles without the covering. All this look quite nice I have to say.
